The full form of NEET is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
What is NEET?
Neet is an important and tough examination in India. Neet is conducted by NTA ( National Testing Agency for the admission in MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate courses. NEET exam is for the medical students. NEET is the Pen and paper-based examination. NEET is governed by CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Education) and NTA( National Test Agency).
Purpose Of NEET.
The main purpose of NEET is to admit the eligible student to MBBS, BDS and undergraduate courses in government and private colleges. Due to NEET only the intelligent get a platform to do something.
Short Details of NEET.
Years started – Neet has been started in 2013 by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and NTA( National Test Agency).
Knowledge and Skill needed – The Knowledge and Skill of Biology, Physics and Chemistry are needed to qualify NEET.
Duration of Examination – NTA provides 3 hours to do or solve the question paper.
Syllabus – To qualify the NEET, students should have the standard knowledge of class 11th and 12th in physics, chemistry, biology and maths.
Offered – NEET is offered once in one year.

- There are 25840 private colleges.
- Total no. of Government college is 27590.
- There are 3521 NEET counseling seats.
- There are 35461 NEET basis seats.
